Moura Coal

Description

The details of the coal sample can be found in the following reference. Ramandi, H. L., Mostaghimi, P., Armstrong, R. T., Saadatfar, M. and Pinczewski, W. Val, Porosity and permeability characterization of coal: a micro-computed tomography study, International Journal of Coal Geology, 154, pp. 57-68, 2016. Two data sets are provided: 1- Dry image of the coal sample (NetCDF format - 1505x1497x80, 16 bit) 2 - Saturated with contrast agent (NetCDF format - 1505x1497x80, 16 bit) Both images are registered to each other. We have also provided a RAW format for each data set. The NetCDF format can be opened using the NetCDF plugin for ImageJ.
