Digitized fracture surfaces of andesite retrieved from geothermal area

Description

Digitized natural rock fracture of andesite containing a single tensile fracture retrieved from geothermal area, Japan. The fracture surfaces were obtained with laser profilometer. This dataset contains the csv files for footwall and hanging wall of surface topographies of sample. The dataset was used for a series of Lattice Boltzmann fluid-flow simulations and Finite Element analysis of electrical and elastic properties for relating hydraulic-electrical-elastic properties of fractures.
