This sample was cored in a block of quarry sandstone from the Paris Basin (France). Fontainebleau sandstone is composed of well-sorted quartz grains. A porosity of about 0.10 was estimated by Helium pycnometry and a mean pore-throat diameter of 14 µm was estimated by MICP measurement.
