Quarried building stone, has a porosity of about 25 % and a bimodal pore size distribution (peaks at about 0.5 micron and 25 micron, associated with respectively intra- and intergranular porosity). Well-connected intergranular pores result in a typical permeability of around 200 to 300 mD.
