Stable configurations after water adsorption at five values of water saturation (Sw=0.18, 0.30, 0.37, 0.43, 0.51). 0-pore space; 1-solid clay; 3-condensed liquid water. Three wettability cases are considered, including a water-wet case, a water-repellent case, and a mixed-wet case where half the domain is water-wet and the other is water-repellent.
