The sample has a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 20 mm. The sample was first saturated with brine (15 wt% KI in de-ionized water). Drainage was then performed with decane at 0.015 ml/min with an injection pressure of 3.5 MPa, for a total injection of 2.5 ml. Waterflooding was performed at the same injection pressure at 0.015 ml/min for a total of 40 pore volumes.
