Exp2: Methane hydrate on surfaces of water droplets (resembling a single pore) Origin Data
There are three pure water droplets sitting on a PTFE plate inside a high pressure chamber. The chamber is filled with high pressure methane gas. Hydrate grows on the surfaces of the center and the right droplets. When hydrate grows, the droplet becomes opaque. Resolution = 3.58 micrometers.
T= 1.0 C, P_initial = 7.05 MPa, P_equilibrium =2.83 MPa. The images are taken with HD visible light camera during 14 days of hydrate growth.
