Welcome to Digital Rocks Portal—your hub for efficiently storing, sharing, organizing (curating, that is), visualizing and analyzing a diverse range of porous microstructure images. We're here to enhance your research capabilities in modeling and predicting porous material properties across Petroleum, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, as well as Geology.

Publish your images and related measurements or documents here, and receive a DOI to cite them in your publications or online. We adhere to FAIR principles for scientific data management, ensuring your data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. In addition, we are actively developing open source code for analysis, which we share through Digital Porous Media Tools.

News:

1. Join us for hands-on "Open Data Curation and Image Analysis in Digital Rocks Portal (PREWS5)" workshop a day before the American Geophysical Union meeting in Washington, DC on Dec 8 (Sunday), 8:30am-noon.  Bring your data or work on existing data!

2. We're currently transitioning the portal to the Core Portal Experience framework, with the new version set to launch in November 2024. During this period, remote visualization and search features are unavailable, and users must be manually registered. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.

3. Visit here to enjoy the results of the 2021 visualization challange!

Do not forget to sponsor a dataset, a student in training, or more so we can keep going! Your support will help us continue developing innovative tools and resources for the scientific community.
